Nordic Source is a procurement community formed by 22 member companies that develop procurement together. We act as an outsourced procurement resource and an extension of our member companies' procurement teams by managing procurement categories, tendering projects, supplier collaboration, framework agreements and sustainability development.

Our member companies benefit from the network's shared expertise, market insight, experience and purchasing power to continuously develop procurement. Nordic Source leads procurement categories, tendering projects, supplier collaboration, ESG audits and contract development together with member companies.

Nordic Source was established in 2009. Today, the network includes 22 member companies, approximately 90 selected suppliers and framework agreements, and more than 110 operational sites across Finland. The combined annual revenue of our member companies is approximately €18 billion, with a total workforce of more than 39,000 employees.

CATEGORY MANAGEMENT

Our operating model is based on category teams where procurement and business experts from member companies work together to develop procurement categories under the coordination of Nordic Source. Member companies define objectives, priorities and decisions, while Nordic Source supports the work through market analysis, category development and project management. By combining the network's expertise, market insight and purchasing power, we identify development opportunities, build category strategies and create long-term competitiveness.

TENDERING AND FRAMEWORK AGREEMENTS
 
Nordic Source manages tendering projects from planning to supplier selection using a consistent and transparent process. Member companies participate in sourcing decisions while Nordic Source coordinates preparation, market engagement and project execution.
Our work continues beyond contract signature through implementation, follow-up and the continuous development of framework agreements together with member companies and suppliers.

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
 
Supplier collaboration does not end when a framework agreement is signed. Together with member companies, Nordic Source develops supplier relationships by monitoring performance, quality, delivery reliability, sustainability and continuous improvement. Regular supplier reviews help identify development opportunities, share best practices and ensure that collaboration delivers value throughout the agreement period.

ESG AUDITS
 
Sustainability development is based on cooperation between the sustainability experts of member companies, coordinated by Nordic Source. We conduct ESG audits, supplier assessments and follow-up activities while developing common sustainability requirements for framework agreements and tendering projects. The expertise of the network and a shared operating model enable a broader impact and more effective development than companies could typically achieve individually.
